Forcipomyia Bicolor and Related Species of the Subgenus Lepidohelea in Brazil (Diptera: Ceratopogonidae)
Abstract
Forcipomyia (Lepidohelea) bicolor Lutz from Brazil and two other closely related species, F. dubia Macfie and F. lacrimotorii Macfie, are redescribed from types. Forcipomyia discoloripes Macfie is a junior synonym of F. bicolor (NEW SYNONYMY). The Forcipomyia bicolor Group of species is diagnosed and a revised key is presented to the nine described Neotropical species.Downloads
