Biology of Ceratocanthus Aeneus (Coleoptera: Scarabaeidae: Ceratocanthinae)
Abstract
Larval habitat of Ceratocanthus aeneus (MacLeay) is illustrated and discussed. Adults and larvae occur together and may be subsocial in their relationship. Stridulation was heard between adults. Pupae have unusual structures that also may permit sound production.Downloads
