Symposium: Biology and Control of Weevils Associated with Citrus in Florida and the West Indies: A Review of Chemical Antagonists to Mycopathogens of Citrus Root Weevils
Abstract
The literature describing chemical antagonists of the methypathogens that attack larvae of citrus root weevils is reviewed with emphasis on compounds that are either fungicidal or fungistatic and impact Beauveria bassiana or Metarhizium anisopliae. The development of antagonist-resistant strains is described. The nature and action of antagonists must be considered in screening programs and strategies for the use of mycopathogens.Downloads
