A Key to Nymphs of Selected Species of Nabidae (Hemiptera) in the Southeastern USA
Abstract
A key is presented for distinguishing nymphs of the 4 most commonly recorded species of nabids (Hemiptera: Nabidae) found in row crops in the southeastern United States: Nabis roseipennis Reuter, Nabis americoferus Carayon, Tropiconabis capsiformis (Germar), and Hoplistoscelis deceptivus (Harris). Characters used to separate the species include body shape and patterns of pigmentation on the head, antennae, thorax, and legs.Downloads
