Maculation Characters for Separation of the Species of the Heliothis Virescens Complex
Abstract
Maculation characters on the fore- and hindwings are useful for separating adults of 5 species in the Heliothis virescens complex (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae). Illustrations and a key are provided to the 5 members of this complex: virescens (Fabricius), subflexus (Guenee), tergeminus (Felder and Rogenhofer), distinctus (Schaus), and molochitinus (Berg).Downloads
