A New Floridian Polycyrtidea with Comments on Zoogeography of Florida Mesostenini (Hymenoptera: Ichneumonidae)
Abstract
Polycyrtidea floridana n. sp. is described from Gainesville, Florida. Our only other United States Polycyrtidea, P. limitis Cushman from the Lower Rio Grande Valley of Texas, also is described and compared. Possible zoogeographic relationships of these and other southeastern mesostenine ichneumonids are discussed.Downloads
