Parasites Associated with Popilius Disjunctus in South Carolina (Coleoptera: Passalidae)

Abstract

Twenty-five Popilius disjunctus (Illiger) beetles were collected (September through November 1968) from rotten logs in the vicinity of Clemson, South Carolina and examined for internal and external parasites. Thirteen species of mites, 2 species of nematodes and 5 unidentified species of protozoa were collected.
