Abstract
This document is about the standardized process for developing nutrient recommendations to ensure successful crop production while protecting the environment. It explains the three-step approach of soil testing, interpretation, and fertilization recommendations, including how nutrient adequacy levels are determined and applied. The text also outlines procedures for proposing and approving new or revised recommendations, the role of standardized methods in Best Management Practices (BMPs), and the importance of these practices in nutrient-sensitive regions.
