Abstract
This document emphasizes the importance of safety during post-hurricane cleanup, highlighting the dangers associated with using chainsaws and other equipment. It outlines six key areas for safe cleanup: personal protective equipment, debris removal, site assessment, caution around power lines, work area preparation, and chainsaw handling. The goal is to prepare homeowners and tree care professionals to conduct cleanup operations safely, reducing the risk of accidents that commonly occur after hurricanes and other natural disasters.
