About the Journal

The Duvall Journal seeks to bridge the gap between research and practice, fostering the dissemination of knowledge that promotes well-being and resilience within families and communities. We welcome original research articles including manuscripts related to community intervention evaluations and applied policy analyses. We also publish invited essays and editorials on the special issue theme.

The journal accepts submissions annually from May 1 - September 1, or until 20 submissions have been received per special issue.  The journal publishes special issues annually on February 1.

Submitted manuscripts undergo a blind peer review by two reviewers. The editorial team makes final publication decisions based on reviewer feedback and relevance to the special theme.

The journal selects ten to twenty articles per issue based on scholarly rigor, clarity, and alignment with the journal’s mission.
