Abstract
Studies have shown the frustrations of journalists trying to acquire government information, yet they still persist and do not give up. Given the changing nature of journalism, scholars should explore emerging questions for how best to deliver civic information to the public, given artificial intelligence, misinformation, and a declining legacy media.
