Abstract

Engaging freshman and sophomore students in conversations surrounding process safety and ethics is critical to their development as professional engineers.  Online survey tools provide a powerful platform for assessing their understanding to current-trending engineering topics surrounding both subjects.  Utilizing such platforms can be a fast and easy way to hold fruitful discussions within the classroom that spur further conversations beyond the classroom.
