Abstract

Publishing is an important goal for students but doing it for the first time can cause unnecessary anxiety. Here, we answer common questions that students have asked us about publishing. This format should also help new principal investigators anticipate questions from students. Readers who are still deciding whether to pursue a graduate degree can also use these questions to guide conversations with prospective advisers and their students.
