Abstract

Belonging involves embracing different perspectives of people in a group.  In the classroom, this can be difficult to achieve when isolation occurs because of perceived differences between students.  However, everyone can feel a sense of belonging when creativity is invoked to come up with the next big idea.  Evidence-based creativity training serves as that catapult to enhance the sense of belonging in a learning community through collaboration…and a little humor.
