The intent is for some of these submissions to be featured as examples in our upcoming articles throughout 2026 to celebrate this major milestone and educators within our community.
In 1962, Chemical Engineering Education was published for the first time. And while there were a few fits and starts in the early years, the journal is quickly approaching its 60th Anniversary Volume in 2026. To celebrate this landmark across the four issues of the 60th volume, we plan to have a series of invited editorials, articles, and other features to complement the typical manuscripts that CEE has published since its first volume.
These innovation examples will be curated into articles discussing the history and state of the art in these areas. To allow for full consideration of your innovation, we would need your innovation description submission by the due dates listed above to ensure that the ideas are available to the coordinating authors ahead of the 2026 deadlines for review and publication.
