Abstract

The future of AI, ML, and robotics in the field of healthcare, health promotion, and prevention science requires careful stewardship. Applying a framework comprised of team science, prevention research, and influential leadership can ease the burden on industry leaders. Building collaborative, cross-disciplinary teams allow for fresh and creative innovation. Charging these teams with the mission of engaging with new technologies to translate science into action to positively impact health outcomes. Sustaining these teams through supportive, influential leadership. Not surprisingly, AI, ML, and robotics play important roles in the successful implementation of each framework component.
