{Call for Papers} AI, Machine Learning, and Robotics in Business
Social Technologies, Platforms, and Human–AI Systems
Special Issue of AI, ML, & Robotics in Business
Guest Editor: Dr. Liangfei Qiu
Special Issue Overview
Algorithms now generate content, shape incentives, curate visibility, manage labor, and mediate social and economic interaction at scale. As a result, business organizations increasingly operate as human-AI hybrid systems rather than purely human or purely technological ones.
Building on decades of research in social technologies, platforms, and digital markets, this special issue invites scholarship that examines how AI, ML, and robotics fundamentally transform individual behavior, platform design, market outcomes, and institutional structures. This issue seeks theory-driven and empirically rigorous research that moves beyond surface-level adoption questions and confronts the deeper behavioral, economic, and governance implications of AI in business contexts.
