GAIL: Enhancing Student Engagement and Productivity

Abstract

GenAI-powered learning (GAIL) is introduced as a pedagogical framework to improve student engagement and academic productivity significantly. Building upon established methods such as Problem-based Learning (PBL), Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL), and the Harkness method (HM), GAIL strategically integrates Generative AI (GenAI) to address evolving technological trends and contemporary learning behaviors. By reinforcing the strengths of traditional pedagogies and capitalizing on GenAI's capacity for personalized, responsive instruction, GAIL aims to advance modern education and help learners flourish in an era increasingly shaped by AI.
