Abstract
This article is dedicated to the victims of Dr. Lawrence Nassar, let this serve to prevent other incidents of sexual misconduct. The article evaluates the legal standards and consequences for the United States Olympic Committee and USA Gymnastics based upon the lackadaisical approach they took when investigating claims of Nassar’s sexual misconduct during the duration of his employment as the doctor for female athletes. There are also recommendations as to how to prevent atrocities like this from happening again.
